Stitching question
I love this pattern but all of my family's stockings hange the opposite direction can I stitch this in reverse or is the pattern pretty much stamped on the cloth I have stitched most of my stocking in reversed so they all hange the same direction

I can't even imagine stitching a chart that big in reverse! You are brave just by thinking of it! My stocking patterns all hang in the direction of this pattern.

Yes! If you, or someone you know well, has computer skills, you can go to a program that, after you scan the graphed design in, allows you to flip the pattern over. Then check the monitor screen to be sure it is backwards! You.may want to also scan in and flip the part of the instructions that have the symbols for floss colors guide, because, as I recall, you will also be flipping the symbols over, like flipping a pancake and they will look odd, as if they were backwards. If both the pattern and the symbols chart are flipped, then it should be fine.
I did this years ago...my husband is a total nerd, so he helps me with those conundrums!
I don't recall the programs that let you flip, but someone out there, even a "junior nerd" would know.

No I'm not brave I stitched 3 three stocking over 27 years ago for all three of my daughters and of course the first one hanged in the opposite direction so I just started cross stitching in the reverse once you get one subject done it's not hard at all this will be my 9th stocking and 6 of them has been done in reverse so here I go again 😀
