Tips on lettering
I am making this project and I would like to know the proper way to secure the ends of my floss when doing the lettering. Since knots aren't done in cross stitch, I am not sure how keep the thread from pulling out on the lettering. Thanks

If you have this professionally framed over stretcher bars, the knots won't affect the beauty of the picture. I have done this many times.

Thank you Cory. I am going to get this framed as it is a gift and I am relieved that putting in a knot won't hurt it any and the threads won't get loose. Appreciate your help very much.

I don't get it....I have always just woven the tail through finished stitches, as usual. Why are we you guys using knots on this?

Honestly, I have made knots many times when weaving wasn't possible. It has worked for me. Knots won't work if you put the picture on a sticky board. They will bump out the picture.

Thanks everyone for sending me suggestions on stitching my letters. Since I have just been teaching myself I always appreciate hearing back from more experienced stitchers and it looks like I a couple of options so I'll just see what works out when I get to that point. LR
