xstitcher, congratulations. So good to have you back. I wondered where you were. I love the birth sampler. I did two with teddy bears and they turned out so nicely. The kids are almost grown and I did not see them when I visited. I suspect that they got tossed during the renovation. I had put so much time and effort in to them.
It's great when things are habitable and one can take a breather. We spent our entire adult lives moving so I feel your pain. We plan on staying in this house because it's so close to our Olivia but I do feel antsy from time to time. Assisted living will probably be next although I pray that it is a long way off yet. :)

Is Mom glad to have her space back?

It is lovely birth sampler. I had made one for my grand first child with a clown and balloons with his name and middle and last and birth weight for his own nursery to hang it on his wall.

My brother is coming in from CO to go on an annual high school float trip (45 years worth of float trips) and will be staying with Mom for a few days before he heads out for the trip. They go somewhere around Steelville, MO. Mom is loving the comings and goings.

For a house warming gift, my son and DIL gave me a pack and play (play pin to me). I think I am ready for some Granny time!

It is so exciting to be back online and looking at the chats. Loving it! Sounds like travel and healing is how everyone is spending time. Oh and testing. Where's the shark, Mary Lee? Nancy, when is the wedding? How's all the DH's? Nancy, ice cream sounds great! will get back to you. Are you up for Dairy Queen or do you have a refined taste : )
