burp cloths
I have made many of these and they make a great baby shower gift. I cannot seem to locate these anywhere. Any suggestions as to where I can purchase them.

I think I saw them in JoAnn's one day... little bibs, anyways, not the towels I used to call burp cloths, though. I wonder... how about buying some cute fabric and appliqueing on a piece of Aida you've stitched?

This site sell them with stamped cross stitch, Walmart or 123Stitch. Have fun

Thank you everyone for the input on the burp cloths. I'm going to go searching for them now. :)

I would not stitch on a burp cloth. With formula, they would never get clean. We used cloth diapers for the twins - they worked great, very absorbant.

We always got. Burped on diapers, too. All 3 of us kids.

I still could not find what I am looking for. They are actually called burp towels for babies. I am also looking for a wash mit and hooded towel. The burp towels are a rectangular towel with a piece of 14 count aida cloth in the one corner. It also has a piece of bias tape going all the way around it. One I made had a blue and white gingham check trim. I wish I could post a picture but not sure how. I could probably make it myself but easier to buy them. I agree about using diapers as a burp cloth but these are fairly simple to make and are adorable. They make a very cute thoughtful little baby shower/sprinkle gift, and I don't mind if a bit of spit up gets on it. It's made with love. I want them to be used. I just purchased a LeisureArts booklet called Oh Baby! It has a pattern for all 3 items I want to make but can't find anywhere. Very frustrating. Thank you everyone for your input. :)

THIS MIGHT BE TO SIMPLE TO BE OBVIOUS -- Try contacting Leisure Arts. They "might" know the product they used to stitch the samples.
