This cross stitch design has 19.6 X 29.1 to be working with floss. so you should have to buy an extra 4 inch white Aida cloth for framing

I have been a cross stitcher most of my life and frame my own work so know about the extra required for framing etc. I just wanted to know if the whole picture is stitched out because it states done on white . I did one similar a while ago and it had to be done on dark brown linen and not the white stated as not the whole picture was stitched.

This project is 100% stitched on There is no law that you have to stitch on white. If it were me, I would use off white or cream. Promise not to call the cross stitch police on you. (LOL). Quite an ambitious project. Enjoy it.

hahaha thanks Nancy. To be honest I never use white anyway but I do have quite a bit of dark ivory so that will do. Here goes. Out with my frames then.
