t know why not of course you change the color. It is really a beautiful picture for a living room or dinning one.

This is just a pattern, so you are free to do whatever you would like. No materials come with a pattern only. IF it was a kit, you could still change things out. You would just be paying for materials that you aren't using. I assume with your suggested color change that you are referring to the fabric color. Just don't get something to dark or the groom could fade into the background. If you are referring to changing some of the floss colors to royal blue, many people on this chat change things all of the time. It is your personal preference to make it your own.

This was asked before. I thought that I had some type of color wheel that would convert shades of one color (say red) to color shades of another (maybe blue), Anyhow, I didn't find it so I didn't answer. T

Today, I have a similar idea. Try this link.

http://dmc-usa.com/Conversion-Charts.aspx

It is a list of DMC color families. Pinks are together, greens are together and so forth.

I assume you have a stash of floss

Pattern "suggests" using four different shades of shell pink. Pull those colors out.

Look at the chart. There are something like 9 different baby blues. Pull those colors. Match the shading and keep four of the blues

Keep doing this and your changes should balance out.

Does this make sense to you?

I've never tried this a such an intense project. I think it should work for.

Please let me know what you think.
