Hi all, I had some nice welcomes, but am still hoping to hear back from a stitcher who actually worked this pattern. About a year ago, I was in contact with syagel who answered some questions for me then. My issue is not knowing whether to back stitch with 1 or 2 threads, as all the lines appear to be the same thickness! Planning to take this on a car trip coming up this week. Thanks!

The best way which I always use is just 1 strand nothing else

I believe all backstitching is shown with a wider line on the pattern. Most instructions will say to use one strand, usually black. Occasionally, I've used another color. Some patterns show a small amount, others show a lot. I backstitch all of my cross stitch projects. It get a little tiresome sometimes, but it really makes the project colors stand out.
