To me if I have done that pattern on black Aida it would have looked awful to me. I do t know about other peoples opinions. I think the designer knew what she or he was doing to choose the white color for it. Have fun.

Not sure about black. I'm a little biased because I don't like to stitch on dark colors. You would definitely have to change a lot of your colors. I like changing the suggested flosses.

I'm looking at my fabric stash. I see a piece of light orange. I think that would be a perfect choice.

I think it would look great on black. You could do the spider web with a Kreinik. Stitching on black is not for me, I totally agree with Nancye.
I was tempted to order it but changed my mind. I have way too much in my stash. I'm still trying to find fabric for Celtic Autumn. ECS doesn't carry it. Maybe one day I'll make it to our local shop.

Of course, now after reading your responses i noticed the black cat and the spider web being in black, lol. I think I'll just stick with the white aida or use orange as the fabric. I've only ever done black or the normal white before so it would be fun to try orange.
