This is really neat
I absolutely love this pattern. I saw it on Pintrest and now I totally want to buy it! I love all the details to it and it really captures The Headless Horseman. I wish that I could buy it now. Rats. I have to wait. I am outside the candy store looking in. =:)

I know this isn't what you're talking about, but this project is making me more anxious for the new season of the Sleepy Hollow tv show! :)

But yes, this is a neat pattern! I particularly like the border, and the hand-dyed fabric in the model.

What a great pattern and I love the fabric its stitched on...I might have to add this to my wish list...

I have this pattern fabric purchased and plan to get the rest that I need, like the pattern and the Kreinik stuff for Christmas. If you are mystified by that, I do know it's a Halloween design, but I may not get to it until next Fall, as I am working on this year's cross stitched gifts for this Christmas!

I was looking at the details, the crosstich pattern is a 28 count. YIKES, that's really scary for someone like me. That is so incredibly tiny. I will get so discouraged if I try it on that. Does anyone know if it can be adapted to a 14 count?

No worries brook.crane! It's stitched over 2 squares so it's the equivalent of stitching on 14 count :-)

Crystal...you can go to picturethisplus.com to get the material, with the specifically recommended color of Haunted, in 14 count. Just be sure to add 3 or 4 inches to each side of th dimensions. Which means adding 6 or 8 inches to both the height andbthevwidth, for the framer!
Good luck with this!

Thank you both for that info! I am going on a vacation in October and I believe this will be a perfect project for just the kind of spooky Halloween festivities I will be enjoying. I love Halloween!

PTP warns you that Aida dyes much lighter than Linen. I didn't really realize how much lighter until I got a piece. It's in my stash now, hoping to get a forever home some day.
