Christmas Stockings
I am looking for Christmas stockings that have aida cloth on the top so you are able to cross stitch a name at the top of the stocking. The stocking is a quilt like fabric . I have purchased these before, but now I am unable to find them. I appreciate any and all suggestions

Have you tried Hobby Lobby, Michael's and JoAnns? Where did you buy them at in the past? Try googling. Some things, especially if they are popular, get discontinued. Don't ask me why.
Good luck.

PS You could purchase a felt one, take the cuff off and attach your own. Easy!

When I made Christmas stockings a while back, I used waste canvas (basted to the fabric) to cross stitch the names, and it was great! Just pulled the threads out when I was done. And that was over a knitted stocking top. It shouldn't have worked without being a mess, but it looked great. Phew!

If you buy the stocking without an Aida cloth you can add a piece with cross stitch' name on it by sewing it to it. Have fun

I ordered 2 Christmas stockings with an attached aida band across the top from Stoney Creek last year and they were very easy to make. I don't remember the cost but don't think it was too expensive.
