What do U mean by reversing the instruction of the Christmas stocking?

Almost all stocking patterns have the toe pointing left. I want to match the four stockings that I have that all point right.

You have to go to a printing place for them to do that for you then do your cross stitching. If you want to reverse the direction as you said.

I didn't realize they could do that. Thank you.

They might charge you a little more than just a regular copy and ask you to come after several days for you to pick them up. Good luck

Take a look at the Patter Maker software package available on this site. You will find it under the Cross Stitch Supplies button on the left side of this screen. Maybe this will work for you.

I think it is cheaper for her to go to a printer shop than just get this gadget and don t know what to do with it.

OKAY MISS C -- in theory you are probably correct. Are you absolutely certain that a pattern can be reversed like that? Assuming that it is possible to reverse a pattern, would a print shop like Kinkos do that for her. Remember, this item is probably copyright protected. Kinkos might refuse to copy it.

I just noticed the Pattern Maker package this morning. It looked interesting. It has a lot of other features in addition to reversing a specific pattern.

That is why I suggested that the sposter take a look at it. It doesn't hurt my feelings if she doesn't like it.

To be honest --You are correct it is quite an expensive investment for a one time use. I, personally, am not interested in this product. That doesn't make it a bad product.

BY THE WAY -- I have heard of stitchers to use mirrors in order to reverse a pattern. That would be a huge challenge.

Yes Mrs Nancy I would like to know you as a friend. I like to chat with you sometimes. Where are you?
Hope to hear from you .

Any decent copy shop can reverse or "flip" designs, including cross stitch! They won't charge more than a fee for a copy, as their bigger machines do this...it is really just a button to push! Our stockings, designed and heavily beaded by my great grandmother, had the toes pointing at each other. Loved mine and still have it. Plan to reverse a pattern of Santa sewing his suit for me for next year, as I have done the Santa fishing for DH!
