Send some rain our way. I can't remember when it last rained here. I sat on a bench by the lake while waiting for the school bus today and saw huge cracks in the soil. At least 7 inches wide and probably as deep. It's either feast or famine.

I am hoping that all the East Coast stitchers are safe.

Thanks Barb...don't want to give impression I was ignoring you...I just haven't been following the thread down through the different "chats" lately. Yes, DH and I are safe and we are one of the lucky ones (see "Grateful" chat)....
I can't help think about some of the stitchers who may have "lost" their stashes in the flooding...
DH and I were so busy trying to get some of the small house items on top of beds, dressers, that due to the weight of my stashes in the containers, I would've either tried to get DH to help me empty everything onto a bed or table or put them into the attic over the garage which would have taken up a lot of time OR I would've lost them. I was able to move the "file folder" containers I bought this past year for all my patterns to be organized up onto "higher" ground but I still would've lost some other patterns if the flood waters had started raising fast.
NOW I'm thinking of RE-ORGANIZING my Stash so that it is at least as high as the closet shelves rather than sitting on the closet floor.....
