Questions
How big in inches is this when finished? Does the price cover the whole kit or just the pattern. I want to modify this counted cross stitch to put on my Native American dance regalia. I would add a couple-three feathers and some paint stripes on the nose. Do you think that would work? I have spent hours searching for the right white horse for my regalia since my last name is WhiteHorse. I have been looking for a white horse that is rearing up, but haven't found one in my price range. If you can suggest another pattern, or give advice, I would appreciate it.

Thank you for your answer!

Beautiful! He.s stitched on 14 ct light blue with many, many simliar DMC colors. This is just the pattern. It's 224w x 286 high stitches. Makes size 16 x 20.5.

Problems: How to stitch him on dance attire? Applique & live with extra stiffness? Eyes & light good enough to see all these colors? Experienced enough to stitch this advanced design?

The pinto by the same designer has feathers already. You could buy that pattern, or make your own. It will just be a little wider.

Stripes no problem. Pick a pallet of 3+ shades in each color.

My children are part Choctaw. I made regalia for my son when he was young. If you really want a rearing white horse, I might suggest that you just google or do an internet search for white horse rearing. There are many beautiful photos there,. You can either ask permisdion of the photographer to make a photo into across stitch design or use it if it is in the public domain. Then print out the photo you want and have it made into a cross stitch pattern, if you cross stitch.

There are several places on the internet that can make a design out of a photo. pictopat.com is one place and I believe the cross stitch stores online often have a place you can send to. Don't use ebay to do this,.as the quality varies! You can look at places online by again searching for photo to cross stitch pattern.

The white horse photos are truly spectacular. I am too old and crippled to ride now, but rode for many,.many years. A horse named Dynamite and another named Big Gray are partly why I have problems now! I hope you can find your heart's desire and make beautiful regalia!

A gorgeous pattern. I don't have any advice to give. Just want to make sure you know that Kristi (the person who adds the supplies information) is on vacation. She will be back on Monday and able to answer any questions regarding this particular product and the supplies recommended by the designer.

Heaven and Earth designs carries patterns by Laurie Prindle. She creates the most beautiful horse art work I've ever seen and there are a few designs with white horses you could check out :)

Hi,
I agree with the other stitchers, try Heaven and Earth designs by Laurie Prindle. Another suggestion is to see if you can get Prindle'sl e-mail address from the internet and contact her to see if she has what you are looking for. This artist has been painting for a number of years and may have additional prints that would help you in your quest.
