question
Can you tell me if this is counted cross stitch or if it is a printed picture? I want to put it on a blanket. I mistakenly ordered one that was to be used only as a picture, and can't use it. Thanks

Yes it is a counted cross stitch pattern. You can use it to be on the wall or a desk or even a pillow. All what you have to do is get the cross stitch supplies that the pattern are required for it by calling customer Service from the top of the site. Have fun.

You need to purchase waste canvas to stitch this on a blamket unless it has a very even weave and you can keep it on an even graph. The waste canvas gets basted onto the blanket (ir jacket or sweatshirt ir whatever). It has even graph lines that you use to stitch the pattern onto,.then when you wash it after stitvhing is done, the waste canvas will oull out when wet, leaving just your stitching.

Hello,

This is a counted cross stitch pattern. We do have stamped products available if that's something that you are looking for. They are in a different area of the website. Under the Search box that is located to your left, just click on the link that says "Stamped Projects" and you will be taken to the area of our website that has stamped kits and stamped projects available. Everything else on the website is counted cross stitch. Hope this helps :) Thank you!

Su -- That is an interesting idea. It might work>

However, that would be quite a challenge doing this pattern using waste canvas. I remember the one and only time I used waste canvas. I made a small design on a sweat shirt. NEVER, NEVER EVER again. (I know -- never say never) I'm sticking to my small and simple projects

Our local tribes used to do beautiful designs in denim jackets, including a design similar to this! The county jail let them knit, embroider and sew. They even made a bit repairing the inmate outfits. Of course, that was all in the good/bad old days!

jojo -- Sometimes it takes a while to have your post recorded. You can erase the duplicate posts by clicking "edit" on the duplicates and then clicking remove or cancel or whatever the button says.

You can purchase that pattern on this site. Click underneath the picture (Full Chief). You will be taken to a new page where you can click "add to cart."

Hope you enjoy chatting with us
