In my last chat I tried to explain what I was asking, well attached is a picture that shows the word "#pulls", at the right side. What does it mean?

The only thing I can figure is that a "pull" could be the length of total strands of floss twisted together...DMC floss would have 6 strands to a "pull". Sorry, that's my best guess and that's all it is...a wild guess. :) Call customer service at ECS, they will probably know. :)

this is a mystery to me. Better ask the company.

I know what it means. It is the number of 6 strand pulls they gave you in the kit of that color. That way if any of the colors are close it is easier to tell which color is which and not just by the description. For example they send you two whites..snow white and antique white. They would say 1 pull of antique white (1 six strand of that color floss) and 2 pulls of snow white, however all yours are 1 pull so that doesn't help with the colors when dividing to label or put in bags. But I hope I have helped with the reason! LOL

I tried to contact the company, but they must have gone out of business. I get a list of other companies. Just like I got this website. I don't want to start this project until I know what it means. (:

jojo - This is just a guess on my part but after reading the "Please note" on the pattern and it speaks of the "quantity" of colors that should make it easier to "separate" your floss I am thinking it means "skein". I never heard of pulls but to me this makes sense. Where is the pattern from? If it is foreign it might be what they call skeins. Just a thought to add to the rest of my fellow stitchers.
Always like a good mystery.

Your best bet is to call the company and ask them about it. Good luck.

I think s1fuss is right. I think the pull means there is one length of any particular color in the kit. You could check by seeing if there are 2 lengths of any color. If not, then this is probably what #pull means=length of each color. S1fuss gets the Happy Helping Award of the day.
