This pattern was stitched on 14 Lincoln fabric and using anchor or Dmc floss. Have fun.

If you can find vinyl cross stitch canvas it would stand up well to liquids. I also use when making bookmarks, doesn't become soiled or damaged with a lot of use.

Granniepat is right. I'd think twice about doing these. I've stained fabric by accident with tea and nothing would get it out. I'd use something that's all cotton so you can use Clorox.
