layon - the book contains the 12 monthly patterns you will need but the towels are ordered separately. I did these towels last year and they are very pretty. I embellished most of them with seed beads for eyes and on the flowers for centers as well as on the sunflower heads. Stoney Creek has the towels you will need or you can choose from other towel sets. I liked the ones from SC because they are different colors. Hope you do this project and enjoy it.

These can be whatever you want. It is yiur choice what towels you buy, the onss with the band to stitch on. They will not be very huge, so I think most would use as hand towels.
