material used for this kit
I cut the matrrial too short so I have to start over. What size material should I get for this kit? I am unable to find the contents of this kit to refer to!! This has been one project that has created too much stress for me. Never buy a Bucilla product again!!

Hello,

The fabric included in the kit is 14ct. White Aida. Bucilla should be able to send you a replacement if you want to contact the and let them know what happened? Since they are the manufacturer of the kit, they are the ones who can send out replacement items for their products. Their website is www.plaidonline.com. Thank you :)

Sorry to hear you are having difficulty. I don't purchase kits. This is the first negative comment regarding a Bucilla kit.

What happened? When you purchase a kit you it should have the correct size fabric == meaning you would not want to cut it. Finished stitching area is 10 x 13.5 inches so you would want to purchase a piece of fabric 16 x 20 inches.

This is my opinion. I am not employed by Everything Cross Stitch.

Hope you get this issue resolved to your satisfaction

Nancy,

I doubt if they will replace this since it was my fault that I cut the fabric too short. That wss.my fault, not theirs. I had so many issues with Bucilla when I first received the kit, that I am probably on their list of "problem customer." They finally sent me the alphabetnfor the kit, but they claim there. Is no replacement cover available. I received a blak and white photocopy of the cover, but I need the colored one!! I vow to never buy another Bucill product!!

Thanks for responding to my question.

I thought you had loaded the color image on your kindle? :) You don't need WiFi to see your downloads.

I did post a picture on my Kindle but it's so small I can't count stitches, not see the colors well. Thats why I wanted the replacement copy. But I can't get one fom Bucilla. Very frustrating. Since I have to start over, I am losing a lot of time here. Any suggestions, anyone?

The image can be enlarged as large as you need it...place thumb and forefinger in center of image and separate them till it is as large as you need it. Do the opposite to shrink it.

And purchase replacement fabric...16 x 20".

I've tried getting missing instructions to embroider a Bucilla Christmas table scarf that was given to me ten years ago. They were no help at all! They've been in business for a very long time, I thought they would have had records of their kits, but they don't. I'm trying not to buy kits any more as many of you have express unhappiness with them.

The Christmas table scarf is still sitting in my stash waiting to be done.
