It is Ok for it to show because you are going to purchase a fabric they call it batting for it and add another one on the buttom as white cotton fabric and sew them all together from inside to be a quilt after you finish your needlework on the front cover. Have fun.

Unfortunately, this is a manufactured kit by Bucilla, so what comes in the package can't be switched out for something else prior to purchasing it. If you are wanting to use a different material for this design, you most certainly can but it would have to be purchased separately and then you would be left with the material that comes inside this kit. Hope that makes sense? But you can stitch any design on whatever fabric you choose, but since this is a kit, we can't make any fabric changes for you prior to purchasing it. Thank you :)
