fabric
the pattern calls for willow green linen. You are offering a different color. What is the reason for that?

Yeah, Kristi, I am wondering about this myself. You offer fabric for all the other Celtic ladies why not for this one? I went to our local shop, soon to be sold or closed due to death, and was able to find a similar fabric but not the recommended one.

I would also like to know when the Antique White Lugana 25 ct will be back in stock.

Thank you.

Sandra

Ooops, I just realized that this is Celtic Spring. I bought that from ECS. It's Celtic Autumn fabric I am inquiring about. I was all over the Internet but I guess am not technologically resourceful enough. I couldn't find it.

Before responding to the question I double-checked to make sure that the 28ct linen is not available on this site.

I found a 28 ct linen called Prairie/Willow green At www.therockinghorse.com. This is the only place I looked. It is a great LNS. Whenever I travel home to the Detroit area by myself it is usually the first place I stop at.

Zweigart has discontinued the Willow Green colour linen. These patterns are from several years ago (2000) when it was still widely available. Now you will only find it in a shop that has older stock left over.

We do have some Willow Green at work. I will check the count and post later.

Thanks, Miss Kitty. This is the very reason that I love local shops because I can get an idea of what color I should substitute with. Although I love online shopping it's often difficult to get a clear idea of what the color actually looks like. It is what it is! :)

Nancye, what a great shop. I love the huge selection available. I am tempted to take a trip with my four little completed projects in my suitcase. Airfare, hotel and rental car would probably raise the price per frame job to at least $400. :) I've never been to MI and it might just be worth it to have an excuse. LOL
Thanks for sharing. I have mailed photos and x stitch projects to have framed before, namely from CA to MT.

FYI. We do have some 28 count Willow Green left.

Traditionalstitches.com

Listed under 28 count Cashel linen, discontinued colours.

Good luck with your project. Every time I see one of these designs made up I think, "I really need to do those"....but I'll live vicariously through yours for now!

I am doing this whole series and decided to do mine on hand dyed linens...I sorta matched the colors they recommend but in hand dyed...they are turning out beautiful...my local shop was out of the willow green which is why I expanded to the hand dyes..I have really fallen in love with the looks they are giving my work...the winter one I am doing on storm gray...gives the look our cloudy skies here in Iowa in the winter

Texas,
I found Celtic AUTUMN by L & L and they are recommending 28-count TAUPE as the fabric to use.

Hello,

If a fabric isn't listed in the supply list, that means the design uses a fabric that we do not have and can not get. We get our fabrics from Wichelt, Inc. so if they don't have it for whatever reason then that means we can not get it and put it on our website since they are the fabric distributor we use. They also do not give us any ETA's on out of stock fabrics. We order from them daily and we get our shipments in from them every 2 days so if something is out of stock or on backorder, it can show up in any of our shipments that we get and when it comes in, we ship those backorders out first. Hope this clears things up a bit?! Thanks guys :)
