This is a cross stitch kit and that word means that it has everything to finish the angel that you had chosen for cross stitch all what you need after finishing it frame it. Have fun.

Some cross stitch kits are stamped and some are counted. I'd like to know which kind of kit this is.

This is a cross stitch kit it is cross stitch all the way not stamped. U will get the fabric, the needle, the floss and the instruction sheet sometimes you will get the beads and buttons if the kit is asking for them.

Hi Beth, if you look directly under the picture of the item, under the "Description" tab it usually tells you if it is counted or stamped cross stitch. It will also say "Stamped" to the right of the picture next to product type if it is stamped. In this case, it is counted.

Years ago, I'd bought a kit that was partially stamped and partially cross-stitch. I would assume, based on past performance, that maybe....MAYBE... the background is printed, but you have to do the angel where you place it by counting. Good luck, and happy stitching.
