Size of fabric
Hi!
I. Would love to stitch this cat but I am very new to cross stitching. I have stitched on 28ct fabric and I would like to change up the color of the fabric. How would I know what size piece of fabric to use if I wanted to stitch on a 28ct piece of fabric?
Thank you!

That depends. If you are stitching on 28 ct over 2 the finished work would be the same size as if you are stitching on 14 ct. You would need a piece of fabric that is 15 x 16 inches

If you are stitching 28 ct over one you would need fabric that is 11 x 11. You stitches would be very tiny.

Thank you so much Nancye G! I know there is a way to calculate it but I'm not that talented yet. My calculation would be something like this....if you had 3 apples and 5 pencils how many gum drops do you need to finish this project? None because dogs don't like taking baths.
