This is a kit everything is included in one package. The material, the needle the instruction and the floss. It does say how many color that is involved in there. Have fun

I don't know how many colors are included. It does look that there is at least two or three different shades of pink in the lettering.

However, I know that I use that word a lot), I see that there is a lot of outlining. I, personally, hate outlining. That takes a lot of time. Possibly, there are 1/4 and 1/2 stitches involved. In my opinion, that would be a better gauge of how long it would take me to finish a project.

This pattern has been discussed before. Maybe someone who has stitched this will be able to tell you the number of colors.
