Hello,

Due to the unfortunate high cost of printing in color, almost all of the designs on our website will be in black and white. There are very few that have color in them and if they do, it’s usually to demonstrate backstitch lines or other specialty stitches. You can always send us an email or post on the message boards if you have questions about a specific design, but almost all of our designs will be black and white charts. Hope this helps :)

If you pick up a good set of colored pencils (the more pencils to the set, the better) you can always color in the pattern yourself. I have done that with several patterns. The only problem is when there are 6 colors of red in the pattern and you have only 3 red pencils. Then you just switch to pink or orange and you'll still be able to stitch along.

If there is a Michael's or Joanns near to you, watch for their coupons (ususally in the Sunday paper) and you can pick up a good set of pencils for 40% off.
