Let's be brave
I'm just about finished with this project and it's been a lot of fun to do. I'm making it for my brother who is retired from the U.S. Army. He was in the first Gulf war (Desert Storm) and the second war also and is a victim of Hussein's chemical warfare. I'm proud of my brother and his wife who kept the home fires burning during his many deployments overseas.

The body of the eagle was so much fun that it went off almost without a hitch. Then I started on the title and everything went haywire! There are at least 4 quarter stitches in every letter and I'm having trouble keeping them straight. I do a little then have to tear some out. It's very frustrating. I've now put it aside and am working on something easy for a while. It was to be my brother's birthday present on August 26, now I'm hoping I'll have it done by Christmas.
