Hi,
Do you mean the finished project size is 8 INCHES x 7 INCHES? If so, then I would suggest you add a minimum of 3 inches extra fabric on each side for mounting and framing; therefore your Aida should be at least 14 inches x 13 inches.

I apologize hobbies; blame it on me having a "senior moment" but I'm not quite clear of your question.
Ok, you have an 8 - inch by 7 -inch pattern already started correct?
What is the size of the FABRIC the pattern is on?

Example: If your Pattern is on an 8- inch x 7-inch size of FABRIC, I would use a Q-Snap frame that measures 6 inches by 6 inches.

If your FABRIC size is larger, such as 10-inch x 10-inch size, I would use an 8-inch x 8-inch Q-Snap frame.

IF you are looking to EXTEND the size of your Q-Snap frame, there are 4-inch "extenders" you can purchase that will extend the Q-Snap frame size.
Hope this helps!
