Needlework Frame
Hi! Thinking of investing in one for big project. Can I have some opinion which is better - E-Z lap frame or the Adjustable lap frame found on ECS? Can the non-basting tape be used on the adjustable lap frame too? Price difference is half which is huge.

I prefer a roller frame on a floor stand for a big project - which doesn't help you any. If you are using a roller frame or any big frame, using an ACE bandage type of thing around it helps keep it clean. Just sew the 2 ends together and wrap around the side/end where your hand will be resting.

I've been thinking of getting one also but not sure which one to get. I usually work reproduction samplers which are big projects. Any suggestions are appreciated.

Needleneeds.co.uk is in england. These people have the cadilac of frames and stands. They take a few months but the wait is well worth it! I am disabled (stitching with non domnate hand) since lossing my dominate arm. I can put my own material on the bars and tighten it far tighter than i ever could any other brand of frame!
