I bought the fabric it called for but the patterns of the sea babies are way to big to fit into each square on the blanket.

what count do the squares need to be to accommodate the designs = I have a some cross stitch fabric in my stash that has squares

According to description of the Nursery Time afghan, it has 25 6-inch squares....
