aida fabric
Hi,
I did the Cranberry Ridge scene 1 on a pale grey aida 18 ct fabric (they called for linen). I can't find a match to that color now to do this scene. Any ideas on what color fabric would work?
Thanks,
Donna

I have that chart Cranberry ridge. I want to do it someday, but I'll choose a pale blue linen. The flowers look like Rhododendrons. They may be Azaleas which are in the same family. I like Rhododendrons because they remind me of when I saw them in Washington state when i lived there as a child.

Wondering how big is the pattern?

on 18 ct , with leaving a 1/4" on the sides and a couple of inches on the top side, id say 8"x8"

I thought I had Cranberry ridge Scene two. I actually have scene one. That chart is 10 x 12 inches. I imagine scene two is the same size. Worked on 32 count the design size is 8.4 x 10 inches, and the fabric should be at least 3 inches more on each of the four sides. I always leave 4 inches for framing, because a framer suggested that amount.

That sounds right but what color aida fabric did you use. Looking for the pale grey and don't know the name of the color to look for :)

Check the little box on the left and click on cross stitch fabric. Wichelt has a nice selection of colors...some of them gray! This is a cute pattern. I have been looking for some with foxes. I don't know if cranberry bushes have flowers, but those look like azaleas to me.
