25th Wedding pattern
I am so excited to get a text from my husband telling me to take off certain dates for vacation. HE booked our wedding anniversary trip to Williamsburg VA. As soon as I get the wedding sampler I bought to commemorate our 25th year of wedded bliss, I better get started on it. Would really love to frame it and give it to him on our trip! It's in early May so I think I can get it done! So excited about the trip and stitching this for him.

I LOVE Williamsburg. I lived in the Yorktown area twice. I'd move there in a heartbeat but cannot bear to be away from my GD.
Enjoy your trip!

Congratulations! Have fun on your trip. We lived in Hampton, Va. for 3 1/2 years and spent as much time as we could in Williamsburg and Yorktown - really love it there! Linda

Texas Stitcher. My parents are at 57 and my in-laws are at 54 this year, so we have some good examples to follow. I am hoping to make it there myself! Congrats on your 50 years!

Couples who make it to a 25th anniversary are becoming a 'rare breed' anymore. Remember Zsa Zsa Gabor? The woman was married 7 times.... I guess she was pretty optimistic or as she once said, "I'm a great housekeeper. I marry the man, then divorce him and keep the house."

Bermuda,
That's too funny about Zsa Zsa Gabor! I can only handle one house and one man, along with three kids and three dogs! You are right, though, longevity in marriage is getting rarer with each year. Some days it's hard, some days it's easy! You just gotta take the good with the bad and hope the good outweigh the bad which in my case it always has! I have been lucky!
Happy Stitching!
