Hello!!
Hi all! How's everyone doing? I haven't been here in awhile, school is keeping me quite busy!
Towards the end of last quarter I suddenly realized that I can't physically work as a nurse! There's no way I could do a 12 hr shift! So now I'm going for a MSW! Still helping people, just in a different way.

I do have a stitching delimma: a friend gave me a bunch of cross stitch stuff and I found a pattern I'm wanting to do, but there's no thread. Does anyone have a conversion sheet that will convert DESIGN WORKS thread numbers to DMC? Or where I can find one? I already emailed them but no go.

Thanks a bunch!
Marlene

Here's a link for Design Works to DMC. Hope it helps!

Caveat - there are no numbers on Design Works side, just color names. If your kit has their color names, this should do it.

Hi Marlene! I've thought of you so many times and wondered how you were getting along. Glad you are back here. What is a MSW? You were going through some tough times before so I hope this is working better for you. Are you still here in Washington? Best wishes to you.

Yes, of course... Hi Marlene, I am new here and am glad you are back. So sorry to hear about your health changes. 😢 I was so intent on finding a conversion chart for you that I forgot to say hello. Where were my manners? Welcome back. 😃

HELLO BACK AT YOU. How are you doing with the other large projects you had been working on? I've been homebound for the last six months. I had hoped to get a lot of stitching done. That didn't happen. Listened to a lot of talking books and took lots of naps.

Be we;;.

Welcome back.

Hi Marlene,

I've been wondering how you were doing with school and life. It's good to hear from you.

I just purchased a kit from the same company to make for my SIL. She's the "Coffee Queen". It's called "Coffee Break" with the different types of coffee orders (Expresso, Irish, etc.). It included the floss and a list of DMC thread numbers. They're supposed to be the same. I'm not so sure. I need to check the kit's floss with my DMC threads before I begin.

You can call D W Crafts at 1-800-468-5487, Mon.-Fri. 9 am to 5 pm EST. as well as e-mail them.

Take care of yourself.
