The Winds of Change
Hope everyone had a blessed Easter! Yesterday was so beautiful in my neck of the woods. My daughter served the 7:30 am mass and although hard to get up that early (we usually go to 5:00 sat. mass) it was nice having all of the morning to enjoy. The sun was shining but it did turn very, very windy in the late afternoon. So much so, that my deck table got knocked over and shattered. The umbrella was just put back up because we were going to eat Easter Sunday dinner on the deck. Not realizing it was quite that windy! At least earlier that day I got to sit out on the deck and do some stitching! Worked on a seashell/lighthouse piece. At this time of year, I like to work on spring/summer related pieces. But of course, I am still working on anniversary piece. Really need to get that done!

I envy you lady. I've never managed to be able to stitch outside.....too much sun, too little sun, a pesky breeze....well there's always something, so I set aside out door time to just chill.

So sorry to hear about your table. It was beautiful here in northern Ohio, but oh how the wind did blow! !
Didn't get any stitching done.... Got up at 7 for 8am Mass and then set about getting ready to feed 13 people. Kind of tired in the pm! Hope the nice weather lasts. Happy stitching, Linda

I had a wonderfully lazy day at home. Didn't do much at all, and I really enjoyed it for a change. I always feel like I must be doing something every moment of day, but yesterday was free of obligation.

So glad you had a lovely Easter, Jacquie. Mine was busy but very nice. And the weather here in North Carolina was picture perfect!
