Has anyone used a stitch gauge or stitch counter? I saw several for the first time on a cross stitch site but can't remember where. Seems like a handy little tool.

Only if you have a bunch of fabric that you haven't the foggiest what it is...I've had one for 20 years...used it once...mostly use as a 6" ruler. You can get the same use out of a ruler and your fingers and toes. :) But it is probably like a ruler, sure comes in handy when you really need it. :)

I too have had one for more than 20 years. A ruler is much better!!!
