Winter White Santa
I would like to cross stitch the "Winter White Santa", but I can't find a kit that includes all of the items. I will order from here the design, threads, and fabric, but I have to go to Wichelt.com to order the bead kit that goes with it. Anyone having the same problem? It is certainly a very beautiful project to do for this Christmas.

I had tried to purchased some patterns in the past from whishlet but they had told me I have to have a shop to buy from them. Go to EBAY to get your beads.

I'm not sure there's a bead pack. Mirabilia is including a charm, which is a lot for them. 123Stitch has every Mill Hill bead listed as a separate purchase, like the Kreinik & DMC. They also mention some crystal & a teardrop. Santa's certainly got himself fancied up!

Wichelt makes fabric, but doesn't sell to the public if they only have a wholesale license. I'm not sure about the license, but many shops carry their products, or can order it for you.

There is a bead pack for Winter White Santa. Stoney Creek is offering it at $34 on their web-store. Good luck !

$34 seems like a lot, but is probably less than the Mill Hill beads, crystals, etc bought separately. I did Royal Holiday (Christmas Queen) years ago. I had some of the materials, but it was still costly. A beautiful heirloom when finished & framed. Keep that in mind when having it framed. I kept telling myself "It's worth it!"

I stitched the Winter White Santa. I purchased the beads, filiments and specialty floss from 123 Stitch. Could not find the teardrops so I went to Joann's Fabrics and picked up Swarovski crystals in a teardrop shape and they look fantastic. Good luck...you will love and treasure it once it is done.

Thanks to all of you for your advice. I know what to do now, and I am very grateful!!!

arsanie4, do the Swarovski beads have holes in them? I didn't know that they were available for needlework projects. I have to see if I can find them just to have on hand. Yes, I agree, some of the embellishments can be quite costly. I bought a pattern about 5 years ago for an Advent calendar, the shop owner ordered the charms, etc for me and they came to a whopping $64, in addition to the fabric, floss, pattern and various other "stuff" needed. It's still in my to-do container. I don't like it as much as I thought I would but will eventually stitch it. If you really like it then it's worth it. You'll get pleasure every time you look at it. I love it when I visit my kids and see the grandkids' birth samplers, etc. Many of the things I have stitched I have forgotten already and then get reminded again. I display very little in my home. I'm a minimalist and enjoy bare walls with maybe one piece of artwork. I have to become more disciplined again and allocate more time to stitching. I goof around on the computer too much.

I just looked up "Winter White Santa" - what a beautiful motif. I'm tempted. Spare no cost, it's a lot of work and worth the extra cost. Have fun.
