pattern
I did a crossstitch pattern Dimensions 35105 (Flowers and Lace) with a lot of needlework on it. Loved doing it would anyone know of a pattern that is similar which includes both crossstitch and needlework?

Karena: How difficult was those stitches? I love this pattern and would like to order, but I'm afraid that I might not be able to do those stitches that make up the "Frame".

It was not hard. It shows you exactly how to do each one. I love my finished project. I could not put it down once I started the lacey look. If I can do it anyone can that can cross stitch. It looks complicated but it is not at all.
I have not done embroidery or needle work before.

I know how to do the crossstitch it was another pattern with both crossstitch and stitching frame that I already completed I wanted to do another one like the pattern I did. I enjoyed doing it so much but I cant find another pattern with the lacy frame.

Thanks Karena. I'm ordering it today! I already have 5 that is one my agenda, but I'll get to it. Thanks.

Would you recommend I do all the cross stitch (background) first before doing the lacey frame work?

Yes I believe you have to then do the frame last. Good luck I know you will enjoy doing the frame. Don't let the look of the pattern scare you off as it is not difficult.

Miss CrossStitch, you were doing well. You need to slow down and read the questions more carefully. This stitcher never asked how to cross stitch. She is looking for a pattern that uses both surface embroidery & counted cross stitch in it.

She says "needlework" but that's really broad. I assume embroidery, but could be wrong.

JLhewes is correct Miss CrossStitch you need to read the questions more clearly and respond to what is asked.
