Pattern
I have not done any cross stitch in several years, so I want to be sure of what I am purchasing and what I will be stitching. This is just the pattern and all that we see in the photo of the finished product will be hand stitched or cross stitched, background and all, right?

Yes this is a counted cross stitch pattern. You will stitch the entire picture including the background. You have to purchase the fabric and DMC floss separately. Don't forget to add 3 inches on a side for framing when deciding on the size of fabric to purchase. I would use a piece of 14ct. Aida fabric that is 35 inches x 25 inches. Hope this helps.
