I purchased this cross stitch kit 2 months ago and I was planning to sell the finished piece. Am I allowed to do it or it is a no no? Thanks!

After you stitch it, you can do whatever you want to do with it and charge whatever you want to charge or just give it away. It's yours to do with whatever you want.

Beautiful pattern.

EBay or Etsy, I guess. From what I've seen, you won't even get your cost back. It's too bad, but it's partly the labor involved & the framing cost. Partly other reasons. Check EBay so you know.

I agree with jlhewes. You can sell it on Ebay or Etsy for example, but the things on there don't even cover all the time you have put in on it or the framing too. People a lot of times just don't understand all the time put in on a craft project. I have never charged for any of my projects. I just do them and give them away as gifts, and the smiles and thanks has always been payment enough for me. You can do what you want though. It is your project. The one you posted is very pretty.

It's adorable, frame it and keep it. You want to know that it is in good hands! That's just my take. The other stitchers are correct. People have no concept of how much work goes into hand crafted items. Many act as though they are doing you a favor by taking it off your hands. I did a lot of knitting in the past for my daughter and had been asked frequently if I would knit for someone. My answer was always a polite refusal but I was thinking "not on your life". Too much work and pressure.

The master HOA did an article on my stitching for the Fall newsletter. The reporter wrote that I do work on Consignment. Wrong! I've placed a needlework at a Consignment Store. It's not selling, of course. If anyone phones about doing needlework for them, I'll remember to be polite.

Thank you so much for replying. I have checked eBay and etsy and you are all correct. It doesn't pay that much. But I can't think of anything to do to help out while babysitting my 5 month old baby..
