Hair color
I was wondering if you can change the color of the hair for this pattern? can it be darker like brunette? and the angel wings to do the same or changing it to a shade of white-grey? i want to purchase this pattern (along with everything else) but the hair color is not my fave.

Of course you can do anything with the pattern when you buy it. Just mention to the person when you call that you want other colors for the hair and the wings. Just get your card and look where it said customer service and call and give your name and address or write them. They will be happy to help you.

You have to find all the colors in the hair & match up the shades, tones, etc. with your new color family -- dark for dark, medium for medium, etc. Can be tricky if there are a lot. Helps to have a complete collection of DMC floss in your stash, or at least the printed color chart.

I've never seen this Leavitt-Inblum before. Looks like an early one, so there may be fewer shades in her blond head.

Oh, ditto all the above for the wings.

PS: Customer Service very unlikely to do the color changes for you.

Marilyn provided a couple of these conversions on her website before she passed. They are:

Dark golden brown- from lightest to darkest- 436 435 434 433 801 898 3371 ( DMC)

Reddish-brown - lightest to darkest- 402 3776 301 400 300 898 3371 (DMC)

Hope one of these works for you.

Jlhewes is correct. Customer Service cannot change certain colors for you for a specific pattern. They are not in the business for that. They just sell patterns, supplies and kits. They do not do designing.

The one thing that is so nice about cross stitching is that we can change and do whatever we want with a pattern. That makes it our own personal project. Good luck. This is a very beautiful pattern.

If you have a stash of DMC floss colors of your own it shouldn't be too hard to match the colors. Just take your time.

I've changed hair color and complexion on a couple of patterns. Just be sure to follow the advice of syagel and jlhewes. You want subtle changes. Miss Kitty provided you with the colors so it shouldn't be a problem. Mine turned out well. Good luck.
