aside with paw prints
Hi Doreen~
I was just wondering where you purchased the fabric with paw prints. I interested in doing the same.
Thank you, Julie

This is a pattern not a printed fabric. It is cross stitch not a needlework. you can buy the pattern from this site and everything at the same time. Good luck

Fabric Flair does make an evenweave with paw prints printed on it. It's 28 count, so that would be the same as 14 count Aida, but stitched over two threads.

Thank you Doreen. I'll check it out.

I stitched a similar print. I cross stitched my design on 18 count then stamped the paw prints using my scrap-booking stamps and ink supply. It turned out really cute. I don't have a picture - it was a Christmas gift 2 years ago but its an idea for you.

I have this on my wish list to do for my daughter. Thank you Miss Kitty - I wasn't aware that Fabric Flair had a paw print fabric available. Definately am going to see how that will look.

Maybe this is a dumb question, but aren't the paw prints done in cross stitch so that you can use a plain fabric?

You are correct arottenbucher. The paw prints are cross stitched on the fabric. The fabric used in the model is 28ct. Potato Lugana with Gentle Arts Sampler Threads. The stitch count is 81 x 101. Cute pattern.

I found the Paw Print aida fabric (28 count) 9x17 by Fabric Flair for $8.43 + $2.49 shipping. So now I can do the Pet Memories by The Stitchworks on this fabric.

I originally purchased my fabric with the paws printed on it from Dovecraft at a Cdn Craft Show. Not sure if they still have it, but it worked out great because I just cross stitched the words and added the names of my lost companions. It looks great and hope you are able to find the fabric. good luck
