Results for my Stitchy Friends
Okay. The breasteses are okay...after two mammograms and an ultrasiund in two days. The left eye thing not clear even after the MRIs, so two more times seeing the eye doc next month.

Meanwhile, reduced to 14 count, I picked out Magic Dragon by Joan Elliott, to do on that new gold dust Aida from Charles Craft...boy, is it stiff. Don't care, gotta stitch. Going to be a gift for my great grandson.

As for the wee-wee, no results yet from ultrasound, done just today. So one down, two to go. The shoulder had an xray and an MRI but don't drew that doc until October 2nd.

Please keep good thoughts and prayers coming to good old Su.

Su Pitt, everything will be fine, remain positive. The fact that your breast exam turned out well should already be a huge load of off your mind. Please remember that most things are fixable these days. Through God, modern medicine can work miracles. You remain in my thoughts and prayers.

Just saw the report and the film of right shoulder. I think it is fixable...a big giant surgery, but see that doc on the 2nd of October, but it is my medical opinion firmly attached to my Pollyanna Syndrome that we can do it! Maybe no cross stitching, but sacrifice is fine. Besides, if I pin my shoulder to my side, you'd be amazed how muuch I can do. I am so lookimg for less pain. Can't sleep and hate pain and haven't slept or been able to lessen the pain for a very very long time. Keep those thoughts and prayers coming, ladies! They are working!

Wonderful! See it's all falling into place. Once you are pain and have slowly regained your mobility you will be able to stitch again. I'm very happy for you, Su Pitt!

Got the right shoulder problem too. Holding off surgery as long as possible, since the word is it's bad. The pain is awful too. Sympathies!

Su - you'll be surprised what a positive outlook and can do attitude will let you accomplish. You'll find a way to cross stitch again regardless of what the doc says. I too have had you in my thoughts and prayers.

Are you having rotor cuff issues? My son has torn ones in both shoulders, he is still holding off. He is not very forthcoming when being asked, so I stopped. I think that he might be worried about the recovery time. He goes nuts when he can't be active. He just had two back surgeries. One was more successful than the other, most likely because he doesn't take doctor's orders seriously. Having to rest when so much needs doing is difficult. Good luck to you both.

No, Texas Stitcher, (who I want to just call "Tex")...not rotator cuff. I have n osteophyte in the joint where the ball end of the humerus rides in the dish part of the scapula...the glenohumeral joint. It is what mkes it the most moveable joint in the body. It needs to be removed as it is like a bone spur...whether they saw or cut, I just want to have it gone. The other side is acting up, too.
I am very positive. Two big back and one neck surgeries. Much improved, but after years of no priblems, my doc thinks that I leak wee-wee because I have nerve dmage. Luckily, there are some meds available. Wheeee. Or weeee!

Su Pitt, yes of course you can call me Tex or TS or Sandra as can the other ladies. It will mean so much less typing. Your condition sounds very painful. Those bone spurs cause problems all over the body. The spine, heels and now I learn of your condition. Had no idea. Hopefully, the operation will bring relief. Hang in there, it'll soon be over and you'll be good as new.

Thanks Tex and all! Will post again after I see the new doc. Been delayed by docs who just stalled for several years. Finally I get to see a shoulder expert! Very hopeful...the pain is now not just with moving but all the time. Not sleeping. Stitching is okay because I just do it by pinning my arm against my side. Not much stops stitching!
