Haven't heard anything about Senior Stitcher. Jennifer Henderson from here at ECS was going to try and contact her and then let me know if it was all right to give me her address or e-mail address. Jennifer hasn't heard anything yet. I am really worried about her. When I hear something from Jennifer I will let all of you know. I just keep praying for her.

Marlene & everyone, we've got to be strong on this. It's miserable not knowing, is the hardest part.

Several months ago, Senior Stitcher posted her email address on the chat because she offered the linen fabric that came with the glads to me. She decided to use Aida. I wrote back and politely declined because it was 32 ct. I can't go smaller than 28 ct now. When I had to get a new computer I lost some data, namely my favorites and the addresses that appear in the TO line. That's where her address was. I have scrolled through the old posts a couple of weeks ago but didn't see it. I didn't have much time. I believe that it was Spring, maybe March or April when she posted it. Of course if it's a computer issue then the point is moot. She is such an active, intelligent woman that I would think she would go to an Internet Café and post news about the glads and herself of course.
Let's hope for the best.

I would say we should make lists of our blogs, clubs, etc. to contact if we have to leave our homes, or something. Lots of people will be worried, with no where to go on the internet, web, or social networks. I don't know who I'd give my list to, however. No one in DH's family could be trusted. My sister would do it, but I'd get a lot of razzing. Like before I took up Android tableting, & that I'm still avoiding "smart phones," & "the cloud".

Miss C, Senior Stitcher was not from Troy. Northern Ohio, or South Dakota, I forget these details.

PS: LOL.

Great idea. I think I'll put an item in my will that I want my fellow bloggers notified. DH stays away from computers, my daughter has too much going on and my boys would laugh their heads off. Olivia is too young but I think that I'll train her.
Smartphones are overrated. I have one hell of a mess on my hands when on the advice and urging of various family members I changed my whole life around. I wanted to bundle instead I have more bills than before. I wanted a lower rate instead I have phone bills that I can't figure out. Nothing at AT&T is consolidated, I have to talk to 10 different people without results, mostly because I can't understand what the "H" they are saying. I almost wept when I got a native English speaker on the line. The cloud - I'll have to tackle that one soon.
Nobody wanted to communicate with me due to my antiquated technology. For a couple of days after I got the smartphone I got a few texts and I haven't heard from any of them since. That was almost a month ago. I won't listen but will follow my heart.
Android?? Heard the term but no longer rings a bell.
Actually, SS is from MN. jlhewes, you know she means Troy from ECS, you're so bad!!!!! LOL

Android is the operating system Google invented for tablets & smart phones. They hoped to conquer the world, starting with Apple & Microsoft. DH has a smart phone. ATT makes you buy a data service & lots of other stuff. The bills are like hospital bills.

One positive is that I phones & their services cost even more.

I have a land line in my house because of my "Lifeline", and I have a basic Tracfone for my cell phone. I hardly ever use it and have over 700 minutes built up. It only costs me $20 every three months. I don't text and I don't need all the apps on those fancy phones. I am not against technology, I just can't see paying for something I won't use. I do Skype a lot on my laptop since my children live in Japan and Indiana.
