Any suggestion as to what type of fabric and what count to stitch on? It is hard to tell what the sample here is stitched on, but it looks like a high stitch count. Thanks for your help.

The model was stitched on 14ct. Ice Blue Aida fabric with DMC floss. The suggests any color but white. If I was doing it I would use a little darker blue Aida fabric.

Have to share this story. Had a choir director who raised Bichons. They lived in the lower level of his split level, with a half gate to the main floor. When the choir came to practice, they'd sing along until he went to the gate, said "Stop" firmly & spread his hands apart. The whole pack would then be silent until the next choir came over.

Their participation was good for a lot of laughs, I'm sure. Cute story.

Jlhewes loved the cute story. I am sure they could sing better than I could.

And mine, syagel. I can't sing worth a lick. When I really like a song, I sing along. DH turns up the volume to drown me out. My daughter tells me "it's enough". That's okay - haters gotta hate.

Okay, I have been looking at fabrics. Everywhere the ice blue Aida is out of stock. What do you think of doing it on the "touch of blue" or "misty blue" ( both on this website in 16 count aida). Thanks!

I like "Touch of Blue" best of the blues. Any color will look good behind the white pooch.
