JHewes and/or Syagel: Can't remember which one of you uses this, but I found the spring tension hoops when I received my magazine of "The Stitchery" today. It has 3 sizes (3 1/2, 5" and 7") hoops for $10.99.
I think I'm going to order this and try it out. Just wanted to tell you as you had said you were not sure if they sold this anymore. Here it is.

I use hoops for itty-bitties, because I don't like "in hand.". The kind I'm trying came from EBay. Outer ring plastic, inner a thick metal wire that doesn't meet. You pinch to remove it.
Hope it works. Easier than the lacy hem-tape wrapped wood hoops. They sure work perfectly, however.

Jclifford yes I am the one who uses the tension hoops. I have at least 8 of them of all sizes. If you can get 3 for that price I would buy them. That is a good price. I think that I have only had to throw one away in all the years I have been using them. I really love them. let me know what you think if you get them.
