Well I took my Butterfly to the fair on Saturday to be entered and they are judging today. I won't know the results for one week or until I go to the fair. I took the butterfly out of the frame and did some modifications on it, (there were a lot of couching and needed a couple more anchor stitches) so I did that and cleaned the glass again.
Will let you know the outcome when I find out. Keep your fingers crossed for me.

Thanks Syagel, I will be happy it gets noticed! A few ahhss and ooohs will make my day. But a ribbon would make my co-worker happy. She's the one I gave the Butterfly to as a gift.

I had the fourteenth marked on my calendar and now another week!!! The suspense is killing me. Maybe one day I'll enter something, that is if I ever get around to stitching. I can't keep my fingers crossed much longer - got things to do. LOL
Seriously, j, I'm confident that you'll place. It looks beautiful. I can't believe that you worked on it some more. Now your friend will receive an updated model!

Good luck! That's a late fair. Fresno is 2nd to last in CA, & I pick up my entries (and big check for $26) tomorrow.

I would like to go to the fair this weekend b'c I can't wait for the results. The ladies there said that it will be shown with the awards if I go there.

What's keeping you, j???? I'd be there when it opens. You can take pics and announce to all the fair goers that this one is yours. Were there many entries? Stop worrying, you'll place.

DH can't wait either. He said we're going tomorrow night (Friday). He wants to know too. I will let you all know as soon as I find out.
