Missing Again
I'm taking the new computer in to get everything done to it that wasn't done in the last 2 1/2 months. Just know that I'll be offline for a few days (just a few, I hope). This fellow was recommended by the framer so I'm hoping I have better luck.

Gladiolas II and III are both at the framer and I've begun IV! Made 15 apple pies so I didn't do any stitching yesterday (didn't think my fingers would move any more).

Happy stitching!

Good Luck! Sock it to those Geeks, or at least tell them to quit gaming all the time, or you'll post bad things about them.

So glad you told us where you will be. Thank you. We will wait to hear back from you.

Wow 15 pies?! You are so awesome! Let us know when you post them on the website for us to look at.

Take care.

We will miss you for the next few days. Hope you get all your computer problems fixed. You are very ambitious if you did 15 apple pies. I can taste them now. Good job.

Ladies, why don't we drop in on Senior Stitcher and have coffee and pie? Sounds delicious.

Fifteen pies!!!!! I'm proud when I bake frozen apple turnovers. Unbelievable, I wish I had some of your energy.

Good luck with your computer. I still mourn the loss of my old one.

Probably Apple this time of year. Sorry, I have to hold out for Cherry. Next Summer? I sure miss the Michign Oxheart Cherries. Got them every Summer when we went up to Mackinaw.

And I love peach pie. I guess you can tell where we all are from by the fruit we love. Haha.

Great idea TXS, we can have coffee and pie of our choice (we bake our own) and taste each others. Wouldn't that be fun?

Where did Sr. Stitcher say she from? South Carolina or Ohio? Ole Timer setting in.

Minnesota, j! She made apple pies. Don't count on me to make a pie. I'll serve one but it will be the frozen variety. I have terrible luck with the crust. ):

Shoot TXS, just buy the already made frozen crust. I do. Then I put the flaky crust on top (frozen too). Or if I get really creative, I cut into strips and weave the top into lattice work. For the fruit, just cut up and put into pie with a little bit of glaze (canned). See it's not hard at all. Everyone will think you spent hours in your kitchen putting all this together from scratch. Our little secret!!!

j, could you move here. You're full of good ideas. Never thought of using the flaky crust. DH loves sweet potato pies. I have to make the filling from scratch and Brenda would make the crust for me. Darn I just was at the store yesterday. He walks around like a lost pup looking for SPP but there are none to be had. I've bought pumpkin pie and tried to fool him but was not successful. I'll do that this weekend. Yeah, like your delicious fried chicken recipe!!!

I buy and use the refrigerated pie crusts when I do my pies, but I make my own fillings. My late DH's favorite was when I took one refrigerated crust and filled it with apples, raisins, and cinnamon and Splenda. I then wrapped the crust up around it like an apple dumpling. They are good and easy.
