Specifications
My daughter wants to do this kit for a school competition that she attends however the rules are pretty strict on what is allowed.

I am unsure what is meant by a couple of the included supplies in the kit. Specifically, the woolen and acrylic yarn and the ribbons. Is that a different material than the typical DMC floss that is used in a counted cross stitch? And it is also hard to tell from the picture - are the ribbons on the girl's shoes and on her hat made out of an actual ribbon that is attached to the fabric?

Also, just to be sure - this is a counted cross stitch pattern, correct?

Thank you!!!

No this is a kit. When it said it is a kit it containt everythings to do that picture in the front. It has the floss, the material, the needle plus the instruction which you copy your pattern from to the material.
Plus you have to buy your frame beside that later. Good luck.

Hi TJ....it's hard to see even blown up, but there is definitely a white ribbon tied on the girl's sandals and I think a red bow on her hat. This Riolis kit, as many do, uses a wool, acrylic thread, not a floss like DMC. I would imagine it would be similar to work with...maybe unravel a little more because of the wool. The picture itself is counted cross stitch. She could do it, just take her time.....it's a nice picture for a young girl.

Yes you get white ribbon for the shoes and red ribbon for the hat. Miss Kitty is correct about the rest of the information.
