What's the best cleaning product for cross stitch fabric?
Hi,
I returned to one of my half completed cross stitch patterns that I thought I had stored properly to avoid it getting soiled. But not to be.
What is the name of the cross stitch fabric cleaner that someone was discussing about maybe 3-4 months ago and where can I purchase it?
Thanks!

The most used product is pure Orvis soap, sold under various brand names. Needleworkers often buy FabriCare. Quilters have the same thing called Quilters Soap. The product mentioned earlier was for aging & yellowing. I can't find it sold anywhere right now, & Or is will probably do for you.

OK, found it. "Retro Wash" sold by Keepsake Needle art, which is mainly a kit company like The Stitchery. Try the orvis soap first.
