I would love to chat with you. I am so sorry you have to give up your patterns. I have so enjoyed my projects. I would take very good care of them and pass them on as you are doing when I am finished. I may have some magazines. I will have to check and let you know if we have the same years. When my kids were younger I was getting a subscription, which may overlap yours. I would hate to take something I already have. I am interested in the Christmas stocking patterns. I am in that in between stage. My kids as well as nieces and nephews are grown and starting the wedding phase of life. I am looking forward to celebrating the next few years with a new "child" daughter in law (my son was married in June) for now and perhaps other in laws in the future. After years of cross stitching, I was losing my eye sight so I gave all my stash to my son's daycare teacher as she loved to cross stitch.. Long story short-after several years of horrible headaches & loss of vision, I started falling down--luckily an ER doctor finally ran a CT scan & found fluid on the brain (obstructive hydrocephalas) & had to have a VP shunt put in my head to control the flow of fluid... The excess fluid was putting pressure on optical nerve--after getting shunt put in-my eye sight is wonderful & I'm back to stitching. I am slowly growing my stash collection & would gladly take anything you are wanting rid of -- I will gladly pay all shipping cost-just let me know how much:

ncstitchmom, was an uplifting story! I am so glad that you were correctly diagnosed and regained your eyesight. I'll go thrugh my stash after the holidays and send my extras to you.
