Su Pitt I live in Defiance, Ohio which is only about 45 miles west of Toledo. It is basically half way between Toledo and Fort Wayne. I was born and raised in Bryan, Ohio. Both are fairly small towns. I live in the country which I love. You couldn't pay me enough to move to town. Where did you live in Toledo? I love the Zoo there and I go to the Casino every couple of months for some fun. Sometimes I win and sometimes I don't. LOL

We lived on Wycliffe Parkway, my grandma lived on Dana Street, 1.5 blocks from the main train switchyard. My brother and I got to ride in the engine when we were 5 and 6 years old. They were next to other tracks and the engineer and fireman ducked onto the cab floor and the engineer saw only us driving the train and adding coal. He kept running backwards to follow us and asked us lots of questions!
My dad as a child lived on Peck Street. My mom grew up in the beautiful West side.
I remember the zoo and Walbridge Park. I remember Defiance and Fort Wayne. My dad founded Maumee Chemical O
Co., later Maumee Development Co. In our family, it was called Maumee D.
We moved to California because of my brother's asthma. He improved a lot. I miss my grandma's apples and cherries and pears the most.
BTW, I have 2 or 3 of those spring tension hoops you like that are fairly new (2 months old) that I can't use because of a hand injury. You can email me and send me your address in email. I'd be happy to mail them to you. pittsuze63@yahoo.com
