I'm so glad you found the branches in "Lying in Wait" project!!! Were the really light BLUE flosses part of the branches? Or was it the light color of the fabric causing a visual distortion?

Hi Bermuda, It was the light blues and light lavenders where the branches were hiding. I can't see where the white fabric I am using is making any difference. I am about half way through the first page and they are really beginning to pop out. I have 8 1/2 more pages to go. At this pace I think my son will have to wait till Christmas of '16 to get this finished project. The Kustom krafts pattern is quite easy to follow - I have 8 post it pointers on my pattern now showing me where I stopped and need to start when I get to that area again. I will keep you updated. I am really enjoying this project though. cheryl

That's wonderful! Nothing better than enjoying the project you're working on. Keep us informed how it's progressing!

Cheryl, I am so glad this is working out for you. I guess we forget how large some of these patterns are and that it takes time...a lot of time....to "walk" into the picture. I do truly love this pattern. My husband cast an eye on this the other night and said "Wow! You should make that one!"

Jerseycrafter, I had been wanting to make a wolf pattern for my son who will be 50 this August but could just never find the pattern I wanted to spend that much time and effort on till I saw this one. I have been looking for several years and fell in love with this one the moment I saw it. I think that is why I panicked when I thought there was something wrong with the pattern. I'm so glad I listened to all of you and kept on it as I think when finished it will be one of my favorites. I got the pattern through ECS so if you want to make one for your husband go ahead and order. cheryl

Jerseycrafter,
If that isn't a hint by your DH, what is? (regarding looking at "Lying in Wait") How fast can you stitch it for him for Christmas????

Bermuda! "Fast", "Christmas"...just can't use both of those words in the same sentence! This picture will need to go after Celtic Spring...and Nantucket Rose...but I will keep it on the list!!

You are like the rest of us when it comes to a list....
